EXT. BEACH FRONT - DAWN

The grey sky fills with maroon, pinks, purples. Church bells
in the distance awaken the kaleidoscopic sun; its rays dance
on the ocean's canvas.

Thunder roars, lightning strikes from the core of the sun
energizing the rays' performance.

Same moment, life-filled wings sprout from the center of the
sun pulling a spirit bridge; the wind howls.

An angel, NAZARETH, poises over the moving bridge in the
center of the sun. From behind him, doves, blazing with
fire, fly forth escorting him just beyond the edge of the
bridge.

HOLY SPIRIT (V.O.)
Go Nazareth. Complete your mission.

The doves circulate around him; he settles back into his life
filled wings, arms out-spread and focused straight ahead; his
feet dangle mid-air; the earth thousands of miles below.

The doves fly towards screen and beyond, leaving Nazareth;
the sun becomes normal and the bridge disappears.

Looking down, Nazareth clumsily free-falls and flips, not
having control of his new wings. Fast music.

NAZARETH
Ahhhhhhhhhhh...

He swims through the air, gains control; he somersaults
playfully down.

The sky transposes into back to back infinite mirrors. He
cradles his wings, bowling balls straight for camera.

NAZARETH (cont'd)
Here I come.

INT. BEDROOM - SAME MOMENT

ZYRA, late 20's male, long dark hair, sleeps in king size
water bed next to his wife under Black/white leopard sheets.

Nazareth dives from the ceiling mirror into Zyra. He jumps
up, looks at the clock, "4;44am".

ZYRA
Cool dream.

His head slams back down onto the feather pillow.

DREAM SEQUENCE- We travel through the infinite mirrors.
Music continues. We enter onto a moving black Harley
Davidson.

BIKER POV - TRAVELING FAST

Takes a sharp turn on the winding road; an on-coming car
serves out of its way laying on its horn - HONK. The biker
pops a wheely, flips him off while increasing acceleration.

CUT TO:

OCEAN BOTTOM - SOOTHING MUSIC

School of exotic fish swim by. Plant life, coral reefs
breathe beneath the surface. Calmness underwater.

A large dark presence is felt in the distance.

CUT BACK TO:

SKY - SAME MOMENT - SAME MUSIC

Nazareth, wings out-spread, spirals down above the ocean.
Chirping, he communicates to the dove on his pointer finger;
the dove flies away.

OCEAN BOTTOM - SAME MOMENT

A huge white slimy beast swims past camera. All life
surrounding its path quickly scatters. Music intensifies.

BEAST POV: through dark oval eyes, swims towards the ocean
surface, watching Nazareth above water.

ABOVE OCEAN - SAME MOMENT

Nazareth POV: looking down, the back of a white DRAGON-WHALE
rises just below surface.

Water shoots up from its back. Nazareth's foot touches down
on the top of the shooting water.

CUT TO:

MOVING BIKER POV: the dove flies at us, dropping down from
the wheely into a ditch in the road.

The dove hovers over the biker as it flips into an on-coming
car. CRASH!

The biker SMASHES into the car windshield, the glass CRACKS;
The bike flips over the car, smashing onto the ground rolling
to a stop.

The car slams on its brakes. The biker thrown from the hood,
rolls through the air, and lands on the ground motionless.

The skidding tires STOP inches from crushing his helmet.

CUT TO:

OCEAN - MOMENTS LATER

Nazareth, trying to keep his balance, surfs Dragon-Whale.
The wind, shooting mist press against his face.

NAZARETH
(sees the crash through the
dove's eyes)
NOOOOO....
(screaming at heaven)
I had more time!

Water shoots up from Dragon-Whale's back in between
Nazareth's legs.

NAZARETH
AUUUGGGHHH....

Puking into the water, he is forced back. Finally, he gains
composure mid-air and charges the beast.

Dragon-Whale's white tiger head with black alien eyes RISES.
Its long neck spins its head 180 degrees. Its dragon wings
slow itself down, ROAR.

Nazareth stops mid-air inches from the beast's mouth. The
tiger head stares him dead in the face.

Nazareth's POV: The white tiger head exposes its canine
teeth, green serpentine tongue which slams against camera, a
blow to Nazareth's head.

TIGER HEAD
(Satanic voice)
Have a safe flight asshole!

Dragon-Whale lifts its tail from the water; SLAMS it against
Nazareth, bat to ball, forcing him back a hundred yards.

Nazareth skids to a stop on shore.

CUT TO:

CAR ACCIDENT - MOMENTS LATER

The back tire of the smashed Harley spins awkwardly; the
California license plate, barely hangs on reads, "ZYRA".

An Asian woman, mid 50's, gets out of her car, runs over to
Zyra.

A black Mercedes pulls up. A mid 40's African American male,
BABEL, dressed to kill in white suite, calmly walks over to
Zyra.

BABEL
(to woman)
Don't touch him!

Babel kicks Zyra in the helmet.

The dove dives down presses against Babel's face. Babel
grabs the dove, bites off its head, spits it out and throws
it down.

The woman backs away.

WOMAN
(terrified)
Who are you?

BABEL
Better worry about your own kid.

The woman turns, her bloody child smashed against the inside
of the windshield.

WOMAN
(reality hits)
NOOOOOO....

She runs back to the car.

Zyra takes off his helmet; his blurry vision becomes clear.
Babel smiles showing his blood stained gold teeth.

ZYRA
What do you want?!

BABEL
You're my bitch Z and I'm going to teach
you to bark.

The woman cries in the background.

WOMAN
God help me!

Zyra grabs his helmet, slams it down on Babel's head, takes
off running, disappearing into the forest.

BABEL
You're mine Zyra.

Blood pours down Babel's head; it miraculously heals; he
gets into his Mercedes, drives away.

The Asian woman cries over her dead child.

ASIAN WOMAN
Faith...

FEMALE (V.O.)
God loved the world so much that He gave
His only begotten Son.

ASIAN WOMAN
(faded)
No o o o...

FADE TO:

INT. BEDROOM - SAME MOMENT

Sunlight streaks the room through mirror blinds. Reflected in
the blinds, DEZERAE, Zyra's wife sitting up in bed, closes
the bible.

DEZERAE
And what do we do? We kill His only Son.

The alarm clock turns 7:00 am. BEEP, BEEP, BEEP. She puts
the bible on the night stand, accidently pushing off the
framed wedding picture. The glass cracks.

DEZERAE
Damn, Zyra, get up.

She leans over Zyra, turns off alarm, picks up broken frame.

DREAM SEQUENCE - Zyra, in black leather, runs through the
forest, stops, grabs his side to catch his breath.

DEZERAE (V.O.)
(whispered)
Zyra, get up.

Zyra looks around.

ZYRA
(under his breath)
I'm coming.

The background transposes into infinite mirrors; Zyra dives
through.

INT. BEDROOM - SAME MOMENT

Zyra's soul dives into his body from the mirror ceiling. He
sits up rapidly breathing heavily. He opens his hazel eyes,
in his pupils, "The Holy Bible", opened to Revelations 1:3,
surrounded in flames. Roll credits over...

HOLY SPIRIT (V.O.)
(Scripture)
"Blessed is he that readith, and they
that hear the words of this prophecy, and
keep those things which are written
therein: for the time is at hand."

The "Holy Bible" slams shut! - BOOM - Branded on the antique
brown leather cover, "Wings of Flesh". Title. Flames engulf
the screen.

DREAM SEQUENCE - BEACH - MOMENTS LATER

The sun drowns out Nazareth laying in the sand. Disheveled,
he sits up, looks out at the ocean.

The tiger head, white wings and tail protrude up from
movement filled water.

TIGER HEAD
(to Nazareth)
I am your god. You will have no other
gods before me.

DRAGON-WHALE turns itself around, shoots water from its back,
dives into the sea.

Nazareth rises.

NAZARETH
(Screams)
Blasphemer!!!

CUT TO:

INT. BEDROOM - SAME MOMENT

Dezerae is in the shower. Shampoo glides down her body and
into the drain. Zyra turns in his sleep and puts the pillow
over his head.

DEZERAE O.S.
Are you up yet? We're going to be late
to set if you don't get up.

Her voice fades as we enter into Zyra's dream.

DREAM SEQUENCE - FOREST - RAINING

Zyra tries to run. His legs are heavy. The mud swallows his
feet; he can't move.

A young boy peaks out from behind a tree. Instantly, he tugs
on the back of Zyra's vest.

BOY
Hey mister, you that fallen angel
everyone's talking about?

Zyra turns to look.

BOY
It's him...get'em...KILL'EM!

The boy, morphs into demon, bites a chunk of meat from Zyra's
leg.

ZYRA
(screams)
Auugh...Get OFF Me!

Zyra reaches down, grabs the demon by his feet. Multi
cultural children step out from behind the surrounding
trees. Zyra lifts the demon above his head.

ZYRA
Die...DEMON!!!

SLAMS him down repeatedly onto the ground.

ZYRA
Die die die.

Brains blue, green and black blood splatter onto the
children; the children morph into demons.

Zyra THROWS the dead demon at the others, opens an escape;
the demon's body decomposes; steam rises; its black spirit
descends.

The child demons pay homage, then instantly charge Zyra,
forming a dome over him with their dark wings. Weird sounds.

OCEAN BOTTOM - CONTINUOUS

The black spirit summoned down through the earth, under-water
to Dragon-Whale.

Dragon-Whale POV: ROARS with fury, slams its tail SPLITTING
the ocean bottom exposing the center of the earth, the lake
of fire.

Dragon-Whale swings its tail forcing the black spirit into
the lake of fire. Tortured souls ravenously attack.

INT. BEDROOM - SAME MOMENT

Zyra jumps out of bed.

ZYRA
(shaking off the vision)
Holy shit...I'm up, I'm up!

Dezerae stands in the bathroom doorway wrapped in a towel
brushing her teeth shaking her head.

DEZERAE
Why are you limping?

Zyra limps past her.

ZYRA
I don't know.

DISSOLVE TO:

EXT. STUDIO - MORNING

MIDGET actor outside with PRODUCTION ASSISTANT having smoke.

FIRST A.D.
(over walkie)
Back to one.

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
They want you back in there.

The midget stamps out smoke and enters the studio.

INT. CHAPEL, MOVIE SET - "BUG BOY" - BEGINNING OF SCENE

Small red chapel illuminates from religious stained glass
crosses.

The midget walks backwards, dressed in black tails and red
top hat, holding a basket of black and red rose pedals. He
throws them into the air.

MIDGET
(singing)
Here comes the bride all dressed in
white...Da dant da da dant da da dant da
da...

In slow motion, the pedals land on the white roll out carpet,
turn to bugs and skitter away.

Blue Doc Martins, a shredded wedding dress and a vale covers
the bride walking down the aisle holding an empty glass
terrarium.

At the foot of the altar, 3 skeleton painted faces in black
velvet cloaks, slam a black metal skull onto the heads of
nails. BANG! BANG! BANG!

MALE V.O.
Auuuughhhhh...

Sparks fly, blood squirts; a human hand distorts. BANG!
BANG! The nail penetrates deeper through the hands, the feet
into black wood. BANG! BANG! BANG!

Demonic laughter.

The midget approaches, stops at the foot of the altar, BANG!
Blood strikes his face.

MIDGET
(wiping it off)
Damn you.

The bride stops, stands erect waiting patiently.

The skeletons, each a different color, lift the cross. Zyra,
diaper wearing "Bug Boy", part bug, part boy, squirms and
grunts nailed to the cross. It slams down into the hole,
stands erect.

The midget puts down the basket, picks up the book, turns
profile in between Bug Boy and the Bride. The skeletons
gather behind and in front of midget.

MIDGET
We are gathered here today to unite our
new species to our bride.

Red skeleton presses crown of bob-wire on Bug Boy's head.
Blood lands on the book. Midget wipes it off.

Blue skeleton lifts vale exposing Dezerae, bleached out face,
blue hair, blue eyes.

Dezerae squats down, puts the terrarium under Bug Boy's feet,
kisses his pregnant stomach.

Blood drips into the terrarium; Midget throws rose pedals
in, they feather down, blood catches one forcing it faster.

CUT TO:

INT. SHOPPING MALL - SAME MOMENT

Two OLD LADIES walk rapidly along the shops following every
turn. One carries a book.

Two PUNK KIDS, blue spiked hair wears "ZYRA" T-shirt. The
other, orange Mohawk wears "Bug Boy" T-shirt. They walk out
of the record store new C.D.'s.

PUNK KID 2
(orange Mohawk)
This shit's gonna be awesome.

He rips open the plastic to "Bug Boy" sound-track.

(blue spike)

He rips open the plastic to "Zyra". The cover, sun bleeds
down over Zyra and band members in desert blood bath.

SMASH - Blue hair punk hits ground. Old lady 1 hits ground.
Punk kid gets up.

Watch it bitch!

They take off running. The record store MANAGER, lends his
hand, the old lady gets up. In the background window, a life
size Bug Boy.

MANAGER
Are you OK ma'am?

OLD LADY 1
These damn kids think they rule the
world.

A short Italian woman, ELIZABETH, a bit over weight, carries
a bag, bends down, picks up book off the floor. On the
cover, "ZYRA" riding his bike.

ELIZABETH
Excuse me, ma'am.

The old ladies turns.

OLD LADY 1
Yes.

ELIZABETH
I believe you dropped this.
(handing her the book)
How do you like it?

OLD LADY 1
It's the best book I ever read.

ELIZABETH
Good. I can't wait.
(pulls out same book from bag)
This was the only time I had, otherwise I
would have bought it sooner.

MANAGER
Is that the same dude as "Bug Boy"?

MANAGER
Everybody is "Bug Boy" crazy these days.
Kids walk in here all the time doing the

commercials during soaps. I don't get
it, but it looks interesting.

Elizabeth walks away.

In background, kids do the bug in front of book store window,
a poster of "ZYRA" reads "Now Available".

CUT BACK TO:

INT. MOVIE SET - "BUG BOY" - SAME MOMENT

Bug Boy, crucified on the cross.

BUG BOY
"Forgive them Father for they know not
what they do."

Dezerae, on her knees in front of the cross. The terrarium
separates the two.

DEZERAE
(looking up at Bug Boy)
Praying for our forgiveness. Giving birth
to a new species, human bugs. You're not
evil, only natural.

A whip strikes his pregnant stomach, flesh tears open.
Movement and baby cries from within.

Wait a beat.

MALE (O.S.)
And Cut!

On monitor, same image. A bald male, CHRISTOPHER STING, sits
in director's chair, mesmerized.

DIRECTOR
Insane! Spookier than Marilyn Manson.
Banned by blockbuster.

Crew laughs. First AD stands next to the director.

FIRST A.D.
Alright, check the gates.

The camera assistant checks.

CAMERA ASSISTANT
It's good!

FIRST A.D.
It's a wrap everybody. Listen, same time
tomorrow. Don't forget to grab your call
sheets.

CAMERA ASSISTANT
(to Zyra)
I saw the preview for this film. When's

The First A.D. helps Zyra get down.

The camera assistant dissembles the camera.

ZYRA
They just have to throw in the pick-up
shots, dude. We'll be done shooting
tomorrow.

Zyra takes off his pregnant pouch, gives it to First A.D..

First A.D. walks away.

CAMERA ASSISTANT

EXT. SUSHI RESTAURANT - MOMENTS LATER - NIGHT

Neon sign, a blue dolphin under "Sushi Blue".

Zyra and Dezerae pull up on black Harley Davidson. The VALET
takes the helmets, gives Zyra a ticket.

ZYRA
(slipping valet a ten)
Take care of her.

Zyra puts arm around Dezerae, opens the door; they enter.

INT. SUSHI BLUE - CONTINUOUS

A fancy Japanese fisherman's wharf. Live jazz on deck
overlooks ocean. The HOSTESS, early 20's fine Japanese
woman, greets them.

HOSTESS
How many will it be, two?

ZYRA
We have reservations for three under
Zyra.

HOSTESS
Oh yes, your third party is here.
(crossing them off the list)
Follow me.

ZYRA
Thank you.

They follow.

DEZERAE
Third Party?

ZYRA
I invited Dr. Moppet.

DEZERAE

ZYRA
Because of those dreams. They're driving
me crazy. Moppet said he wasn't busy and
he'd meet us for dinner.

DEZERAE

ZYRA

They reach the table. DR. MOPPET, late 40's, dressed in
yellow suite, Hawaiian shirt, thick black glasses, puts down
red wine glass, greets them.

DR. MOPPET
Look at the beautiful couple. You make
Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson look like,
or is it Heather? Anyway, you look great.
Please have a seat. I got the best
Merlot in the house.

DEZERAE
I hate Merlot.

DR. MOPPET

Dr. Moppet hands glass to hostess.

ZYRA
I feel lost. I'm being chased. I can't
figure it out.

DEZERAE
It's Revelations unfolding.

DR. MOPPET
You read the bible, Zyra?

ZYRA
Nah, I don't believe in that shit.
Dezerae's a freak about it. I believe
people need to believe in something
greater than themselves. The Bible fills
fantasy in Dezerae's mind.

DEZERAE
It's not fantasy, it's truth.

DR. MOPPET

DEZERAE
(to Zyra)
You're blinded by your own ego-centric
stupidity.

ZYRA
See what I put up with Doc. In my
dreams, a beast tells an angel, "I am
your god, you will have no other gods
before me." The angel screams,
"BLASPHEMER".

In background, tray of drinks land on couple's lap. They walk
cussing, the waiter's left apologizing. People turn to look.

ZYRA
(turns)
What's their problem?

DR. MOPPET
(excusing Zyra)
He's an actor.

Zyra's waiter walks cautiously to table.

WAITER
Are you ready to order? I'm Chung Ho. I
will be your waiter.

DEZERAE
We're going to split the California roll,
rainbow roll, fresh water eel, spicy tuna
roll and fried vegetables.

WAITER
And for you, sir?

DR. MOPPET
California and rainbow please.
(to Zyra)
Do you want Saki?

ZYRA
Yes, a large one.

DR. MOPPET
Make that two please.

ZYRA
Hey Chung, my wife will have a glass of
Beaujolais.

WAITER
No Beaujolais, only Merlot.

DEZERAE
I hate Merlot. Chardonnay please.

WAITER
I'll be right back with your drinks.

ZYRA
Doc, you know what I forgot to tell you.
A child was killed in my dream. His name
was Faith.

DR. MOPPET
How do you know?

ZYRA
(flashback of dream)
The mother cried like a baby.

DR. MOPPET
Zyra, Dezerae may be on to something.
Let's say for arguments sake, this beast
is Lucifer. Evil takes on many forms.

DEZERAE
I think you are onto something, Doc.

DR. MOPPET
In Revelations, Satan takes form of a
dragon and beast, possibly man.

ZYRA
Are you my bible teacher or Psychiatrist?
Damn Dez, no wonder why you set me up
with him.

DR. MOPPET
Give me a second, he's showing you faith
is dead, find your faith and fight back.

ZYRA
Look at you, you're fucking crazy, man.

DR. MOPPET
This is very interesting.

ZYRA
I'm so glad my life makes your life
interesting. Let's get out of here, Dez,
this shit's a mistake.

Zyra throws down a fifty and walks out. Dezerae follows.

DEZERAE
(to Dr. Moppet)

EXT. NIGHT - QUARTER MOON - PCH - MOMENTS LATER

Zyra and Dezerae ride Harley.

INT. ZYRA AND DEZERAE'S HOUSE - MOMENTS LATER

Bike turns off. Through living room glass wall, the quarter
moon, starry night illuminates gothic/angelic atmosphere.
The door unlocks.

DEZERAE V.O.
I'm exhausted. We'll love tomorrow
night.

They walk in.

ZYRA
Fine.

DEZERAE
You should give him a second chance.

ZYRA
Why do you do that to me?

DEZERAE
You called him.

ZYRA
I didn't know he was a religious doctor.

DEZERAE
Just because he's intelligent and can
carry on a conversation even about
spiritual healing...

ZYRA
Is that what you call it?

DEZERAE
I'm going to read myself to sleep. We
have to get up early.

ZYRA
All you ever do is read the bible.
What's your problem?

DEZERAE
Why does that bother you? I enjoy it.

ZYRA
I don't know. It just does.

Dezerae puts her purse down. Zyra walks into bedroom.

DEZERAE
Do you want wine? I'm having some.

ZYRA V.O.
Please.

Dezerae walks to bar, pours two glasses of red wine.

INT. BEDROOM - SAME MOMENT

Zyra under sheets reaches over sets alarm. Dezerae walks in,
hands him glass.

ZYRA
Thanks baby. I'm sorry.

He downs it, puts glass on night-stand.

DEZERAE
Slow down killer.

She undresses, hops into bed, grabs bible from night stand,
starts to read. Zyra falls asleep to moving water bed.

DREAM SEQUENCE- UNDERWATER

DRAGON-WHALE swims, gulps down school of exotic fish.

EXT. BEACH - SAME MOMENT

Nazareth on his knees prays.

NAZARETH
Lord, I failed. Forgive me. Lead me on
the right path, so your will may be done.
Amen.

He stands up. Church bells ring. Wings sprout from sun's
core; spirit bridge extends further. Breeze increases
across water front. Waves grow. An eerie presence is felt.

DRAGON-WHALE shoots straight up from ocean. Its serpentine
neck and tail move, its wings lift him higher, its gills
flare as it spins mid-air.

Nazareth witnesses from shore.

NAZARETH
What the hell?!

Its wings fully extend, its tail curls underneath its body,
its six bear claw feet spread, tiger head GROWLS; force from
the center of the earth accompanies its breath ending inches
from the wings at the end of the bridge. (Spiritual battle.)
After reaching its peak, it dives, wings gear its descent.

NAZARETH
Help me Lord!

Dragon-Whale enters water, creates tidal wave, swarm of bees
rise in tower formation, water crashes down onto Nazareth
forces him to knees.

The bridge further extends, sun closes, bridge disappears.

Water calms. Day turns to dusk. Sun becomes black. Moon
becomes blood.

Tower of bees illuminate, Babel, in white suite with bees
under his palms allow him to walk on water away from the
tower. He approaches the soaking wet Nazareth.

NAZARETH
Quite an introduction.

BABEL
You've seen nothing yet. I will have
Zyra. He deserves me.

NAZARETH
He's protected.

BABEL
His faith is dead.

NAZARETH
However, Dezerae's faith is not. They are
one under God.

BABEL
He is mine.

Babel disappears. The bees disappear. Nazareth arches his
back, raises his arms and wings, thunder roars, lighting
strikes Nazareth from the sun. He becomes one with this
energy.

CUT TO:

EXT. FOREST - STORM - SAME MOMENT

Lightning bolt, Nazareth, strikes demons surrounding Zyra.
They fly through the air, the bolt enters Zyra.

NAZARETH'S VOICE
Run.

Zyra, energized, runs.

ZYRA
(Cries out in pain)
What's happening to me?

He rips off black leather vest, CRACK-CRACK-CRACK in his
upper back. His skin deforms, shaping numbs forming wings
under flesh. He falls to his knees, grabs wet earth,
clenches his teeth.

ZYRA
AAAUUUGGGHHH!!!

The pain subsides. His wings of flesh, fully grown. Zyra

Dezerae rolls out of bed.

Dezerae walks into bathroom. Zyra lays back down, throws

FIRST AD
Alright, let's change camera angles.
Props, bring in the babies.

The PROP MASTER carefully carries them onto set. The camera
assistant works on camera. The DP and Director talk about
next shot.

The MAKE-UP LADY touches up Dezerae.

On monitor, camera assistant slates camera.

The slate falls, camera assistant exits. On monitor, Bug Boy
crucified on cross, skeletons surround him.

DIRECTOR (O.S.)
Action.

Buzzing and baby cries as bloody appendage pierces through
Bug Boy's stomach. (Cut to scene.)

Bug Boy's bloody body hangs on cross, every muscle
contracted, distorted.

Dezerae kneels at his feet, blood, guts trickle down from his
womb into terrarium.

Bug Boy's POV: looking down, part bug, part baby with his own
face crawls out of his stomach, up his chest.

DIRECTOR (O.S.)
(whispers)
Now.

The bride's hand reaches in. The bug baby skitters away, she
tries to grab it.

The skeletons chant in between lit torches.

The Bug baby skitters up onto Bug Boy's face leaving trails
of blood, guts.

The bride grabs as many babies from his womb, places them in
the terrarium. Tears swell in her eyes, she grabs the one
from his face.

DEZERAE
Look at our beautiful children.
You did very well.
(to baby)
Give daddy a kiss.

Baby Bug kisses Bug Boy on the cheek. They both have same
face. She lays it gently into terrarium.

A whip rips open his womb, she turns to skeleton.

DEZERAE
(Furious)
CAREFUL!!!

The skeleton bows his head, falls to his knees, the rest
follow. The midget laughs darkly.

Dezerae scoops the last bug baby from his gut, places it
inside terrarium. The midget grabs it from her hand.

MIDGET
Let me see.

In one motion, she grabs the baby back, slaps the midget
upside the head, knocking him over and gently places it
inside.

DEZERAE
How dare you!

Through the glass, two babies cuddle next to each other.

Bug Boy's POV: blurry vision, flames, Babel in the midst of
flames laughing.

Zyra as Bug Boy blinks. Babel still there.

Bug Boy's POV: Looking around, Babel's face on every
skeleton. This is real. He bugs out.

DIRECTOR (O.S.)
Great. More Bug More.

Zyra blinks again tries to shake image. Babel laughs harder.

BABEL
I'm not leaving. And only you know I'm
here. Ain't life grand!

GO AWAY!

Director turns to SCRIPT SUPERVISOR.

DIRECTOR

Is that scripted?

She shakes her head no. Bug Boy, tears in his eyes, fights
for his soul on the cross. The buzz of bees fade in.

Just your soul. Poor innocent Zyra using
the image that selfish bearded man used

ticket sales.

Bees fly from the holes in Babel's body, covering Bug Boy
completely. Tears fill Zyra's eyes.

FLASH IMAGE: Young Zyra in Kiss make-up crying.

Shut the fuck up! I'll kill you.

He tries to break free from the cross.

DIRECTOR
(to script supervisor)

Babel opens his mouth, the bees fly back inside his body.

The skeletons grab the torches, place them at the foot of the
cross. Flames rise.

The bride picks up terrarium, exits. The skeletons and
midget follow leaving Bug Boy to burn.

The prop master turns off the flames.

The doves guide Nazareth/Zyra back through the sun.

Crystallized Castles, golden ponds fill the streets of gold.
Rolling hills filled with dragons, dinosaurs. The place where
distinct animals roam freely.

Zyra gives way to flying dragons and dinosaurs.

ZYRA'S VOICE
Where am I?

NAZARETH'S VOICE
Shhh. Listen.

Animals speak to each other. Zyra controlled by Nazareth,
dives into golden pond. Huge eggs protected by dragons rest
on bottom. Smaller dragons, fire lizards, swim by. An egg
cracks open, a fire lizard is born. Bubbles rise as they
speak.

(pointing to fire lizard)

God is infinite. As many kingdoms as He
needs. Within this hierarchy, Angels
pass from one realm to another depending
on their rank. Souls are brought into
higher realms when God chooses.

Zyra dives landing at entrance of most magnificent castle in
this realm.

If you accept your mission, we will work
together. My presence within you will
allow you wings so you can come here when
you are needed.

The double arch crystal doors open.

NAZARETH'S VOICE
Once the bridge is complete, Jesus Christ
my Lord and Savior, will use it only when
God the Father tells Him. The bridge
grows with love. God's message must
reach all His people. You will touch
those God has appointed for you.

Before they enter, Nazareth separates himself from Zyra.
Zyra's wings of flesh disappear.

They walk to the large white throne and see who is sitting on
it. They fall to their knees in silence and worship.

Scrolls open. Then another scroll opens, the book of life.
The dead are judged according to their deeds, by what is
written in the scrolls.

THE ONE WHO SAT ON THE THRONE

Tears fill their eyes; their hearts weigh heavy, they know a

They exit, Nazareth steps into Zyra, his wings of flesh
expand, they are one again. They take off in flight.

Hovering LA, red glow, white glow increase and decrease
throughout. Zyra closes in.

INT. DR. MOPPET'S OFFICE - SAME MOMENT

Through the bay window, Zyra enters his body. Moppet, next
to Zyra, takes notes calling him back.

Zyra opens his eyes, sits up.

Zyra does not answer. He gets up, walks out.

Looking down at his notes, every word from "The One Who Sat
on the Throne" is written.

EXT. OCEAN - DUSK - AERIAL VIEW - LATER THAT NIGHT

The red glow grows over sea; Babel leads Garth walking on
water.

Garth, hypnotized by Babel's power, follows. The sun drops
below horizon, Babel releases Garth from spell.

Garth drops into freezing water.

GARTH
Help me! I can't...
(underwater and back up)
...swim.

Babel lends out his hand, his fingers inches from Garth's
grasp. Babel laughs.

Babel raises his arms, drops down into the water.

UNDER WATER - CONTINUOUS

His feet turn into tail of dragon, his body grows into whale,
his neck elongates into dragon's neck, his arms out-spread
into wings, his head forms into tiger head with alien eyes.

Garth's eyes bulge from his head, water bubbles rise from
his mouth.

Dragon-Whale swims up, chomps down, Garth's body bitten in
half. Garth's right eye pops from head, floats to surface.

Tiger head finishes him off in one gulp. Blood surrounds the
beast.

EXT. OCEAN - MOMENTS LATER

Blood rises to the surface. His eye pops up, floats in blood
pool about 200 yards off shore.

A small fishing boat approaches. Two men, BOB and BOB, late
30's, one, over weight drinks a beer, the other, anorexic
wears military fatigues, dog chains, drives the boat. Big
Bob spots the eye.

BOB
Bob, stop the boat.

BOB
No Bob. All you ever do is boss me
around.

BOB
I'm serious Bob, where's the flash light.

Bob throws him the flashlight. He misses, it lands in the
water.

BOB
Thank God that's a floater, otherwise I'd
throw your fat ass over and make you find
it.

BOB

BOB

Bob reaches over, misses the eye.

BOB
Slow down.

Bob slows the boat. Bob grabs the floating flashlight
lighting Garth's eye.

BOB

BOB

eye.

BOB
Oh yeah, check this out.

Bob picks up the eye by its tendons, dangles it in Bob's
face.

BOB

Bob flashes the light into the water and notices the blood.

Holy shit we're in a blood bath.

Skinny Bob revs the engine, heads for shore. The eye flies
from big Bob's fingers, lands in back of the boat.

Trying to keep his balance, he walks to the back of boat,
bends down, picks up the eye. It squishes from his fingers.

Bob drops the eye in the beer cooler.

BOB

EXT. ZYRA/DEZERAE'S HOUSE - NIGHT

Three quarters of moon shines brightly against house.

Zyra pulls in driveway, presses automatic opener, garage door
opens, drives in, parks it next to Dezerae's black Range
Rover.

He shuts garage door, enters house carrying a bag.

INT. KITCHEN - CONTINUOUS

He puts down keys, pours himself glass of wine from bar.

ZYRA
Baby.

No answer. He walks through living room past moon
illuminating ocean, into bedroom with package. Dezerae, in
bed cries watching the news.

ZYRA
What's wrong?

DEZERAE
Where the hell have you been? You don't
call me all day, then you have the nerve
to show up at ten o'clock at night asking
me what's wrong. I'm through. I thought
things were going to be different, but I
can't take this. I'm going to my
mother's tomorrow and filing for a
divorce.

ZYRA
What? I can explain.

DEZERAE
I don't want to hear it. Who are you
fucking Zyra?

ZYRA
What? You need to calm down. Nobody's
fucking nobody. I went to Dr. Moppet's
this morning like I told you. He put me
under hypnosis. I hallucinated into the
first realm of heaven.

until about a half an hour ago. I really

He hands her the package. She pulls out a crystal angel
frame for their wedding picture.

ZYRA
It reminded me of, oh forget it.

ZYRA

Dezerae gets out of bed, hugs, kisses him.

On wide screen TV, Bob and Bob, by Santa Monica Pier being
interviewed.

This is Holly Gossip, recorded live from
the Santa Monica Bridge where two guys
coming in from their fishing trip spotted
a floating eyeball. No say on whose it
is or how it happened. Officials are
keeping people out of the water until
they can find this under water killer.

ZYRA
This lady pissed me off today.

DEZERAE
Holly Gossip? I think she's great.

ZYRA
You should have seen what she did to me.

DEZERAE

ZYRA
On my way into Moppet's office, three
different camera people flooded me with
questions like "What kind of role model
uses drugs?" And "Is it true that I'm
seeing a shrink because I get visions of
the devil?" Why do they distort the
truth and exploit it. It doesn't make
sense.

DEZERAE

FAT BOB

ZYRA'S VISION: 4 metal chains serpentine from each corner of
bed, cuffs lock his hands and feet yanking his body into X.

Nazareth flies from ceiling mirror, rescues Dezerae.

Reflected in Zyra's eyes, Nazareth flies away with Dezerae.

FLASHBACK - ZYRA'S PAST - ORGY - HEAVY CRAZY MUSIC

Zyra, in X-shape on bed, blind-folded, chained, cuffed. Red
lights, purple lights, blue lights. Six foot pot bong, half
bottle of Jack, cigarette butts fill the background.

Beautiful women, dressed in S&M leather whip him, pour hot
candle wax over his nipples and body. Others moisten his
body with oils, ice cubes. (Torture and excitement at the
exact moment.)

Babel's face appears in the mirror ceiling above. Flames and
tortured souls parallel their actions.

BABEL
Zyra, your activities belong to me.
Everything you do glorifies my name. You
can be king of this world. Just ask me.

ZYRA

A soul cries out from Babel's voice.

SOUL

ZYRA
Gabriel?

Babel's mouth opens wide. Flames rise from the back of his
throat. Gabriel, Zyra's brother, claws his way up Babel's
tongue from the flames.

GABRIEL
He won't let me go.

Gabriel's father, behind him claws his back keeping him from
rising.

GABRIEL
Help me.

Babel closes his mouth, swallows the image. Zyra on the bed.

ZYRA
NO. It's not fair.
(to the women)

They excite him more, biting his nipples, drawing blood.

FLASH BACK - The father SLAMS Gabriel against the wall, rips
open Gabriel's pants, back hands him across the face.

Blood from Gabriel's mouth lays out across the wall. Gabriel
goes down. He crawls away.

The father grabs him from behind, chokes him, slams his
forehead into the concrete floor. He sticks himself inside
his son.

GABRIEL

BABEL
(face appears)
That's when you walked in and did nothing
but cry.

Young Zyra walks into room, he and his father locks eyes.

FATHER
You're next.

Blood pours from Gabriel's forehead. On Gabriel's last
breathe, he looks up, locks eyes with Zyra.

GABRIEL
(barely a whisper)
Why?

Blood pours from Gabriel's mouth, he reaches under bed, grabs
gun, BANG, shoots his father in the face blowing out back of
his head. Blood, brains scatter against window.

Gabriel dies.

Young Zyra, dressed in KISS, Gene Simmons' make-up, curls up
in ball crying.

YOUNG ZYRA
Momma.

INT. ZYRA AND DEZERAE'S BEDROOM - SAME MOMENT

Zyra lays in fetal position, cries for "momma". Dezerae
wakes from her sleep, shakes him. Zyra ROARS out of it.

ZYRA
IT'S NOT FAIR!

DEZERAE

INT. ZYRA AND DEZERAE'S LIVING ROOM - NEXT MORNING

The phone rings. Zyra picks up cordless.

ZYRA

early? Yeah two's fine. I'll see you

He places phone on counter, pours two cups of coffee with
milk.

ZYRA

DEZERAE

She crept up behind him wearing white lace.

ZYRA

She goes in for good morning kiss.

DEZERAE
You had a rough night.

ZYRA
Yeah.

DEZERAE
Do you want to talk about it?

Zyra grabs coffee, walks over to couch.

ZYRA
I never told you the full truth about
what happened to my family.

DEZERAE
Okay.

ZYRA
When I was 10, my brother Gabriel was 8,
my father beat and sexually abused him.
I was too young to do anything except
cry. He threatened to kill us all if we
tried to leave. Eventually he followed
through. Halloween night 1983, my
brother and I were getting ready to go
trick or treating. My mom worked late,
my father said he would take us. I was
in the bathroom upstairs putting on my
KISS make-up, when I heard my brother
scream for help in the basement. By the
time I got down there, the bastard was
raping my brother. I was young. I
didn't know what to do. I was in shock.

DEZERAE

ZYRA
I never told anyone. I dreamed about it
last night. Yesterday, when I was under,
my guardian angel, Nazareth, showed me a
world that exists just beyond the other
side of the sun. A bridge is being built
by angels and dragons connecting their
world to ours. The bridge is made of
love. Like the center of my heart. I
can feel it growing. I need to forgive
my mother and myself. And even more
difficult, I need to forgive my father.
I know Gabriel has forgiven me. Jesus
Christ has forgiven me. I need to let
Gabriel go, so for the first time in his
life, he can be free.

Zyra sips coffee.

ZYRA

DEZERAE
Believe it or not, I see a side of you I
have never seen in any other human being.
I have always imagined Jesus Christ as
what you are at this moment.

ZYRA
He's here. I feel Him too. The reason I
walked away from the Catholic Church was
because my father took my family every
Sunday. I need to call Robin.

He picks up phone, dials.

ZYRA
Hi Stacy, this is Zyra. May I speak to
Robin please? Alright just tell him I
called. He's got the number. Thank you.

He hangs up phone.

ZYRA
He won't be in for another hour.

DEZERAE
I don't think you should try and get out

ZYRA
Really?

DEZERAE
I see so much light radiating from you
right now, to avoid those who are in
darkness would be a sin.

ZYRA

DEZERAE

He dials Moppet.

ZYRA
Dr. Moppet please. Hey Doc I'm not going

EXT. PCH - SANTA MONICA PIER - AFTERNOON

Grey clouds. Zyra rides Harley, stops at same red light.
"Bug Boy" in background. On the shore, a crowd of people.
Sirens in the distance.

The lanes ahead closed by cops. An ambulance pulls into
parking lot. Zyra looks at his watch. He pulls off road,
parks, walks down to crowd, pulls out cell phone and dials.

ZYRA
Hello, hello, Aladdin I can hardly hear
you. At the beach. I got stuck in
traffic. There's an accident down here.
Hold on a second.

The ambulance pulls up to scene. Cops clear crowd away.
Zyra walks up to SURFING DUDE.

ZYRA
What happened?

SURFING DUDE
Some dude was washed up on shore bitten
in half by jaws or something.

Zyra pushes his way to the front. The medics lift torso of
Garth missing one eye and bag him. They bag his bottom half,
place it in Ambulance.

ZYRA
HOLY SHIT!!!
(into phone)
Aladdin you're not going to believe this.
Did you watch the news last night?
Remember the eye ball thing? They just
put Garth's torso, the Camera Assistant
from the reshoot, into the ambulance.
They bagged his legs separately. I don't
know. This is messed up. I'll be there
soon.

Holly Gossip pulls up in media van.

COP 1
Alright folks, the show is over.
Everybody go home.

People puke in background from stench and image. Holly
interviews cop.

music plays. It drizzles rain in Holly's background.

That Bug will pull in as you fly around.

NERDY GUY sips tea by craft service, waves, walks over to
Zyra puts out his hand.

Zyra as Bug Boy in wings buzzes in flight.

STING O.S.
Action.

The green VW Bug drives into cave. Bug Boy lands on hood,
rips open driver's door. The nerdy guy, genuinely scared
shitless.

BUG BOY

The nerdy guy moves over into passenger seat. Bug Boy drives
away.

STING
CUT! What the hell was that?

Zyra gets out of car.

ALADDIN
(to Zyra)
What the fuck are you doing? Quit

ZYRA
Change the slogan. "Follow the way of the
millennium bug". I'm out of here.

Zyra walks off set.

ALADDIN
You can't do this. I'll sue your ass.

Sting looks dumb founded.

EXT. PARKING LOT - VALET - MOMENTS LATER

VALET 2 brings bike around, Zyra tips him. It still rains.

ZYRA
Thanks man.

VALET
Be careful!

He hops on the bike, pulls out into traffic. He cruises up
the coast.

ZYRA
(sings out to heaven)
I feel the best I've ever felt.

A gasoline truck pulls out in front of him. CRASH!
EXPLOSION!

Zyra skids from under the truck out of the explosion.

On coming cars slam on their brakes swerving into the cliff -
CRASH. One car after another RAMS the car in front.

Zyra stops sliding in the middle of the street. A car skids
to a stop, inches from crushing his head. A mid-50's Asain
Woman gets out of the car.

ASAIN WOMAN
Oh my God, are you OK?
(no answer)
HELP!

The clouds and sky darken. Thunder roars, lightning strikes
from the cloud covered sun. Wings pull the bridge beyond its
furthest point.

The lightning, Nazareth, strikes Zyra's body. The Asain
woman flies back.

Rain clouds release heavily minimizing the fire of the
gasoline truck. Sirens can be heard.

Holly Gossip pulls up in media van.

Zyra's spirit, once again with Nazareth. Zyra's wings of
flesh expand; they leave his body, fly towards the sun.

HOLLY GOSSIP
(to her camera guy)
Let's go. We need to cover this.

CAMERA GUY
What a day!

They run to the scene. The Asian woman gets up.

HOLLY GOSSIP
(to Asian woman)
Ma'am, excuse me, ma'am, can you tell me
what happened here?

Ambulances arrive. The police arrive. Two fire engines
arrive. The fire fighters pull the hose from the truck.

Cop 1 jumps out of the police car. The fire fighters put out
rest of fire.

COP 1
Everybody clear out. Go home. It's not
safe here.

The Asian woman gets back into her car. Her young son,
FAITH, sits in the front seat with seat belt on.

ASAIN WOMAN

The cops block off the accident. Nobody talks to Holly.

INT. ZYRA AND DEZERAE'S HOUSE - SAME MOMENT

Dezerae looks out her window, rain pounds against glass wall.
On television, Holly Gossip reporting Live.

HOLLY GOSSIP
This has been an incredible day. Just a
few hours ago you heard from Hollywood's
Hottest Star, you know what, he's a human
being. Dezerae if you're watching this
get down to the Santa Monica Hospital as
soon as possible. Zyra has been in a
terrible accident.

DEZERAE
What?

She grabs her keys. The back part of the house CRACKS, land
slides. The roof splits open, glass wall shatters inches
from slicing her up. She runs to the garage.

DEZERAE
Holy shit! Jesus get me through this.

She jumps into her Range Rover, throws it in reverse, breaks
through the garage door, peels out.

Back half of house slides down the cliff, crumbles.

EXT. ACCIDENT - PCH - SAME MOMENT

Angry waves pound the shores. People run to escape the
storm.

The medics lay Zyra onto stretcher.

MEDIC 1
Get him oxygen NOW.

Medic 2 puts oxygen mask on him. They slide stretcher into
ambulance, take off. Cop car sirens them to hospital.

Tow trucks drive onto scene.

The waves reach half way to PCH.

COP 1
(to the tow trucker)
Get them out of here quickly.

HOLLY GOSSIP
Oh my God, I'm watching houses land slide
cliffs all along PCH. This is a crisis
situation.

One house after another land slides down the cliff crumbling.

Wind howls loudly whipping across the coast.

CAMERA MAN
We lost power.

HOLLY GOSSIP
What? Fix it.

CAMERA MAN

Waves crash down reaching PCH.

HOLLY GOSSIP
Let's get out of here.

They hop in van; camera man punches the gas. Fallen debris
crash down behind them.

CAMERA MAN
Oh shit! I don't want to die.

People hop on fire trucks, tow trucks leaving cars behind.

200 hundred yards off shore, the water whirlpools; it
deepens until the cracked earth below is exposed.

Bees rise from cracked earth, the lake of fire.

DR. MOPPET'S OFFICE - SAME MOMENT

His secretary runs into office. Moppet, on his knees prays,
looking out bay window, rain slams against it.

The tower of bees rise in the distance. Houses crumble.

The secretary falls to her knees, prays.

EXT. SANTA MONICA EMERGENCY HOSPITAL - STORM - SAME MOMENT

Dezerae runs through the entrance...

INT. EMERGENCY ROOM - CONTINUOUS

Dragon-Whale circularly swims rapidly creating the whirlpool.

The bees rise, souls/demons summoned from lake of fire fill
tower of bees.

DRAGON WHALE

His voice echoes throughout ocean giving strength to tower.

EXT. ABOVE OCEAN - SAME MOMENT

Tower of bees/souls rise up in direct path of the bridge.

OTHER SIDE OF THE SUN - SAME MOMENT

Angels, lined up connected by channel of light through their
hearts from one sun to the other, flap their wings.

Dragons, dinosaurs, extinct beasts run through the air and
enter less brighter sun.

Nazareth/Zyra rounds up beasts throughout the land. Angels
ride dragons into the sun.

INT. MAGNIFICENT CRYSTAL CASTLE - SAME MOMENT

The Sacred Heart of Christ seated in white throne
illuminates. Doves fly from his heart, exit castle.

EXT. CASTLE - CONTINUOUS

The doves enter Nazareth/Zyra's back, illuminate out their
heart.

NAZARETH/ZYRA
NOW!

They guide Nazareth/Zyra through the sun leaving trail of
light.

Traveling past animals through the bridge, the doves guide
Nazareth/Zyra to the wings pulling the bridge; they fly into
wings, wings of flesh lock into spirit wings.

ZYRA'S VOICE

NAZARETH'S VOICE
Yes. Keep pulling!

Two beings in one, with power from the Holy Spirit, guide the
bridge towards earth.

Tower of bees/demons rise in direct path.

INT. MORGUE - SAME MOMENT

The MORTICIAN cleans his tools, his back against Garth's two
piece body. He turns around, Garth is gone. No one is
around.

MORTICIAN
(freaks out)

EXT. OCEAN SKY - STORM - MOMENTS LATER

On top of tower of bees, chained down to a toilet bowl is
Garth's body possessed with thousands of demons/tortured
souls. His eyes, Zyra's father's eyes, the eyes of the
devil.

Thousands of pounds chained to Garth's arms and legs
preventing souls/demons from escaping.

Horrific sounds: bees, torture, screaming.

Nazareth/Zyra face to face with Garth.

ZYRA'S VOICE
(seeing his father eyes)

(Gabriel's voice)

ZYRA'S VOICE

They duck, weights fly past, spinning Garth around.

Garth smashes into illumination of light, the bottom of the
bridge. His skin boils, melts. The bees, souls/demons
sizzle burn rising into the bridge. Black, red smoke stench
the air.

The doves guide Gabriel through the bridge, to the other side
of the sun, through the channel of light connecting the
Angels' hearts to the brighter sun.

ANGELS
Welcome home Gabriel.

They pass through the brighter sun.

Dragon-Whale stops swimming. Water rushes into the center of
the whirlpool.

Tower of bees/souls above water continues rising into bridge.

People in surrounding areas in awe, fear, puking from stench.

Water fills whirlpool. The last of the bees,demons burn,
spirits summoned by beast.

Dragon-Whale shoots straight up, ROARING, moving its long
neck, tail, flapping its wings. Its gills flare, it barely
makes it over the bridge.

DRAGON WHALE

On its way down, it spreads its wings, catching currents,
dives into ocean making awesome SPLASH.

Zyra/Nazareth reach shore, the bridge disconnects from their
back, SLAMS into the ground, forcing templates to split all
along the coast.

(The great 8.0 earthquake that scientists have been
predicting for years finally hits.)

The streets of L.A. flood, water rushes through drowning the
people running.

Buildings collapse.

People all over the world are tuned into their
televisions/radios. The news is heard all over the globe.

NEWSCASTERS V.O
It is a sad day in history for human
beings as the earth reconstructs itself.
The state once known as California in the
United States of America is now
completely submerged under-water. For
the thousands lost, our hearts pour out
to your families and friends.

Helicopters film disaster. The San Francisco Bridge breaks
in half, the bay sinks.

Within minutes, the land once known as California is
completely submerged under-water.

People who made it to the border, stare out into the vast sea
which just minutes before was their home.

Some cry, some silent, some pray, some in shock. Ambulances
arrive escorting these people away.

Zyra/Nazareth fly above the new coast.

NAZARETH'S VOICE
This is what will be when God touches
down upon the earth.

They land a quarter of the way up on the illuminated bridge.
Their pov: looking out, the bridge enters the water where
California used to be.

They separate for the first time. Zyra still has his wings
of flesh and remains standing on the spirit bridge.

ZYRA
I don't understand.

NAZARETH
The bridge has not yet touched down,
Zyra. It is a prophecy, however,
everything else up until this point has
occurred. Natural events on earth effect
the spiritual realm. God has made it
this way. People have been warned for
years from scientists and prophets that
the earth will reshape itself. Those who
chose to believe have faith and take
action as God provides. Only God the
Father knows when He will allow the
bridge to touch down and send His Son to
claim His reign on earth. God's timing is
not man's timing.

ZYRA
Why do I still have my wings?

NAZARETH
Your faith and actions have earned them.

ZYRA
Is this the beginning of the end?

NAZARETH
No. There is still much work to be done
before Christ can claim his throne on
earth. Congratulations Zyra. You have
touched many with your story, now they
have the freedom to choose.

Babel, dressed to kill in his white suite, rises from the
ocean below.

ZYRA
(looking down at Babel)
What will come of him?

NAZARETH
He's Lucifer. He chose to be forever
evil.

Zyra and Nazareth fly down to meet Babel. The Bridge
illuminates above connected to the sun.

They stand on the water.

BABEL
(to Nazareth)
Very impressive. I could not have done

(to Zyra)
I still have your father.

Zyra remains quiet.

BABEL
(to Zyra)
What are your plans now big shot.

ZYRA
None of your business.

BABEL
I will find you. It is a small world.

ZYRA
No you won't. I'm with Christ now.

BABEL
Well, I better get going. I have a lot
of souls to tend to.

Babel sinks into the water.

BABEL
(torso shows)

He disappears.

ZYRA

What are you going to do now?

My mission is not yet complete.

Zyra takes off in flight. Nazareth flies off.

NAZARETH V.O.

INT. HOSPITAL ROOM - DAYS LATER

The sun light pours through the window striking Zyra's oxygen
masked face. He lays on the hospital bed, I.V.'s stick out of
his arms.

His eyes slowly open. His POV: a female angel illuminates in
front of him.

ZYRA
(under the oxygen mask)
Where am I?

The light becomes normal, the angel becomes Dezerae. He
lifts the mask onto his forehead.

DEZERAE
Baby, oh my God you're alive.

She goes in for the kiss.

ZYRA
Careful. Are we in heaven?

DEZERAE
In the Santa Monica hospital. I thought
I lost you forever.
(not letting go)
You were in a very bad accident.

ZYRA
What about the earthquake?

DEZERAE
What earthquake?

ZYRA
(to himself V.O.)
It was a prophecy.
(to Dezerae)
Was anyone else hurt?

DEZERAE
(nodding yes)
It was a horrible storm. You slammed
into a gasoline truck. The doctors said
it was a miracle you didn't die on
impact.

ZYRA
What happened to the driver?

DEZERAE
(breaking down)
The truck exploded. The police said the
impact of a Harley Davidson striking a
gasoline truck even at 55 m.p.h. is not
enough to make it blow.

ZYRA
Somebody tried to kill me.

DEZERAE
They're looking into it.

ZYRA
How did you know I was here?

Holly Gossip walks into his room without her camera.

HOLLY GOSSIP
Hi Zyra.

ZYRA
Get out.

DEZERAE
Holly told me directly over the air waves
where you were. There are hundreds of
people outside the hospital right now
praying for you to pull through. I would
not have known you were here as soon as I
did if it wasn't for Holly.

Zyra grabs Holly's hand.

ZYRA

HOLLY GOSSIP

ZYRA

Zyra sits up, looks out the window sees thousands of people
gathered in prayer holding lit candles. Holly leaves.

On the television in background, the "VW Bug Commercial."

DEZERAE AND ZYRA

DEZERAE
I'm surprised they didn't dub over it.

ZYRA

cameras running, so I did my one take and

DEZERAE
Robin said VW's sales went up 38% on the
Bug.

Zyra laughs.

ZYRA

DEZERAE
Well, now that all of the good news is
out of the way, I have some bad news.

ZYRA
What happened?

DEZERAE

DEZERAE

DEZERAE

The crowd outside starts cheering.

onto the movable I.V. stand. The crowd goes crazy. Holly is
in front. He opens the window, everyone quiets.

ZYRA

Someone screams out from the crowd.

VOICE

Zyra laughs.

ZYRA

The crowd goes crazy. He gets back into bed. There is a
knock at the door. A woman's voice can be heard.

WOMAN V.O.
Hello.

DEZERAE
Yeah, can I help you?

WOMAN V.O.
Is this Zyra's room?

Zyra gives Dezerae a look of "who's that?"

DEZERAE
Who's asking?

WOMAN V.O.
Zyra's mother.

DEZERAE

She walks over, opens the door. It's Elizabeth.

DEZERAE

They walk in.

ZYRA
Mom?! I thought you were dead.

ELIZABETH
The court forbade me to see you after the
trial. I signed the agreement to keep
them from locking me up.

ZYRA
How come nobody ever told me?

ELIZABETH
That was part of the agreement. When I
saw you on the news in critical
condition, I was afraid to come. I went
shopping to clear my mind. A stranger
walked up to me and said, "You don't know
me. My name is Nazareth. I know your
son. Zyra needs you." Then he vanished.
Something happened to me. I broke down
and forgave myself for not protecting you
and Gabriel. I have come to ask you for

She can't hold it in any longer. She weeps.

She walks over, hugs him. All three cry tears of joy.

Let's move to Florida Dez. I want to
move to the other side of the country. I
don't want to raise a family in L.A..

DEZERAE
Really, 'cause that's what I wanted to

DEZERAE

heavily. When I heard Holly tell me to
get over to the hospital, I got out just
in time. Our house was caught in a land
slide and only half remains.

They guide him back through the sun, the bridge disappears.

INT. SURGERY ROOM - SAME MOMENT

Dezerae looking like she just gave birth, holds her baby.
Zyra, eyes filled with tears, kneels next to her holding the
baby's hand. Elizabeth is a wreck, holding a tissue bleeding
mascara. The doctor and assistant smile.

DEZERAE
Zyven.
